Words have a long tradition in street art and stand for their own visual language. Many artists of the street deal with the art of writing, developing it further to the high art of calligraphy. The term calligraffiti was coined from the fusion between graffiti and calligraphy.
Stohead, as a representative of this style, designed the façade of the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) for the opening and thus already built the bridge to the exhibition "The Art of Writing". Other renowned artists of the genre such as JonOne, L'Atlas, Patrick Hartl, Said Dokins and Tarek Benaoum, among others, were shown for the first time in a unique group show at the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art.
